Live, Virtual, and Constructive Simulation
Cubic develops, fields, and integrates advanced air, ground, virtual, and Military Operations on Urban Terrain (MOUT) training systems into the Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) environment. In this environment, forces from multiple geographically dispersed locations collectively participate in a combat training exercise as if they were all physically located at the same site. Our expertise in the underlying software technology, including DIS, HLS, and TENA, enables us to meet IEEE standards for interoperable system architectures.
Cubic is on frontline of LVC transformation efforts. Our systems and integration expertise continues to play a vital role in the biennial Talisman Sabre training exercise. It was the first proof of concept exercise for the future of joint systems used for binational training between the U.S. and Australia, and was the first step toward globalizing the U.S. Department of Defense Joint National Training Capability. For this exercise, Cubic integrated all live training domain simulations, including its live air, ground, and MOUT instrumentation, which in turn fed all live training data into the Joint Combined Training Capability.
