SeaPAN MILES
Maritime forces encounter a wide range of threats and have a growing need for realistic training. SeaPAN enables maritime security forces to safely carry out a wide range of force-on-force training scenarios at sea. Our system provides feedback during the exercise to help assess and improve their tactics used for pursuit, firearms, and many other types of training.
Designed for Watercraft
SeaPAN is one the latest evolutions in Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES) technology. Cubic has customized it for the marine environment. It accurately replicates weapons engagements and effects on watercraft, mimicking different areas of vulnerability, including engines for realistic training.
Based on Widely Deployed Technology
As with our widely fielded land-based MILES, exercise participants are fitted with harnesses, which are equipped with laser detectors. The detectors sense laser hits, perform casualty assessments, and store details about each event.
Security forces have confidence in the accuracy of Cubic’s training systems. A key reason why is because our weapons simulations have been validated by extensive testing to accurately replicate the ballistics of nearly every weapon in the U.S. arsenal.
