The Process To Achieve Asset Visibility
First, your organization identifies high value assets that need tracking and monitoring. Next, based on those needs, you and our Cubic Global Tracking Solutions team determine where to place the Cubic Global Tracking Solutions devices. The devices can go on moving assets that your organization owns or leases, including: sea vans, containers (dry or refrigerated), closed box trucks, open flat beds and pallets. Also, your organization can place monitoring devices on remote fixed assets, such as, pipelines, oil platforms, and utility equipment.
Device Management Center™
We program the devices to communicate the required data to your organization. For moving assets, once they are in transition, our devices communicate the encrypted data (AES 128) to our Device Management Center ™ using the least costly and most reliable routing mechanism (satellite, cellular or wireless networks). This is the brain center of our organization because this is where we authenticate, decrypt and process the data streaming in from the devices. Next, the DMC transmits the key data to you through secure web applications, XML data feed, SMS text messages and e-mail. Additionally, our advanced devices offer you the ability for two-way communication, which means your organization can reconfigure the rules of what is transmitted while your assets move across the global supply chain depending on Geozone or threat level.
