Training Systems
Cubic's training systems support the readiness of U.S. and allied forces.
Full Spectrum Training Solutions
Cubic provides a wide range of training systems to meet the readiness needs of U.S. and allied forces. We customize and adapt our training systems to help reinforce operational doctrine of national military and security forces; simulate any weapon and any threat, and provide realistic training for individuals and collective forces.
Cubic is shaping the future of training technology. We are advancing the development of joint training solutions and systems that can operate simultaneously in multiple simulation environments including, live, virtual, constructive, and gaming domains.
Cubic is the leading provider of air combat training systems worldwide and now part of a team providing air instrumentation test subsystems. Aircrews rely on our systems to help them train for combat missions more effectively and with less risk. Testers will rely on our Instrumentation to provide highly accurate and timely test data. We integrate airborne and ground tactical data into a common operational picture that provides situational awareness for aircrews in training debriefs. Our systems provide technological value to customers because they are designed to be scalable and provide interoperability with other training systems.
Cubic provides live ground combat maneuver training solutions for training and mission rehearsal exercises. Our systems create a realistic battlefield environment for troops to sustain and improve upon their advanced tactical engagement skills against an opposing force. The training is conducted in the field, providing a high level of realism, enforcing correct procedures, and yielding outcomes that would be expected in actual operations.
We adapt our systems for specific training needs of U.S. and allied forces. Our systems are in use at homestations, ground combat training centers, Military Operations on Urban Terrain (MOUT) sites, and interface with live, virtual, and constructive training domains.
Cubic provides a wide range of Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES) equipment for live training scenarios. Our systems create a realistic tactical engagement simulation environment for soldiers training in the field against an opposing force.
MILES adds realism to training by reinforcing the requirement for individual soldiers, subunits, and units to adhere to weapon drills and doctrine. MILES accurately replicates both the actual firing capabilities and effects of weapons during training, detects hits from laser “bullets,” and performs damage and/or casualty assessments on targets. We equip soldiers, vehicles, direct fire and indirect fire weapons, area weapons effects, buildings, and watercraft with our laser-based components.
Cubic provides a full range of virtual and immersive skills training systems. Our systems provide a cost effective means for soldiers to acquire essential skills needed for combat and security missions. This type of training takes place in a virtual environment where soldiers face scenarios that can be customized for purpose. With our systems they learn basic marksmanship, practice squad tactics, and test and hone judgmental-use-of-force decisions.
Cubic’s interactive courseware program provides training and educational needs through computer, internet and classroom-based training through our experienced courseware development services. Our core capabilities include training program management, front-end analysis of manpower and training requirements, a Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) based on the ADDIE model, Interactive Multimedia Instructional (IMI) Levels I-IV training products development, interactive courseware (ICW) development, AIM I and AIM II format curriculum development within the Learning Object Model, Navy Training System Plan (NTSP) and Training Systems Installation Plans (TSIP) development experience, Learning Management System and Content Management System experience, and SCORM & Section 508 compliance.
