Cubic provides Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High Explosive (CBRNE) support for research, experimentation, and analysis to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in its mission to combat weapons of mass destruction (WMD), including developing and executing training and exercise events on consequence management and CBRN effects. We work with Partner Nations (PN) to assess their Combating WMD (C-WMD) capability and furnish the training and equipment needed to detect, deter and investigate WMD incidents.
We support the CBRNE Preparedness Program (CPP), the preparatory platform for combatant command (COCOM) response forces and for PNs. We also provide exercises, demonstrations and workshops for domestic and international interagency CBRNE response and recovery efforts. Prominent focus areas include supporting regions to develop, test and validate contingency responses, area restoration and business resiliency plans; integrate science and technology solutions and coordinate agency cooperation and interaction.
In total, we play an important role in supporting DTRA and the national strategy to enhance WMD counter-proliferation.
