Cubic’s Wireless MILES is a high-fidelity tactical engagement simulation system. From the manworn halo, and wireless modules to the PAN Charging Case, each of the subsystems includes new and improved features. Because of Cubic's advancements, Wireless MILES exceeds the capabilities of any other tactical engagement simulation system in use today.
Ergonomic freedom - The manworn instrumentation MOLLE mounts to the soldier's battledress, similar to operational equipment. Mounting is cable free to maximize soldier ergonomics and safety.
Reduced cost of ownership - No cables mean less spares, repairs, maintenance and logistics over the life of the system.
Convenient - Wireless MILES equipment is issued from and receipted into a PAN Charging Case, streamlining materials handling and battery management/recharging activities.
Upgradable - The system has the capacity for upgrades, including modules for instrumentation, combat life saver treatment, compatibility with new weapons and new vulnerabilities.
Commercial-Off-Shelf wireless sensors are easily integrated allowing for smart extension of the laser engagement capability including physiological monitoring, orientation and similar.
Of all MILES systems, Cubic’s Wireless MILES is the most transparent to soldiers. There are no harnesses and cables on our manworn system. Instead it uses an industry standard wireless link to communicate decoded weapon effect and resultant real-time casualty status.
Our PAN Charging Case minimizes the logical support activities while maintaining Wireless MILES in a high state of readiness. It stores multiple Wireless MILES kits for carriage to/from field issue and receipt stations. During storage, the case recharges batteries and enables capability for external diagnostics, software upgrades over the air, etc.
