EST 2000 Marksmanship Trainers Delivered to Jordan

Cubic recently completed delivery of 15 EST 2000 Engagement Skills Trainers to the Kingdom of Jordan. Cubic technicians installed systems at the Royal Military Academy and the Infantry School near Amman earlier this year, representing the initial fielding of the EST 2000 for the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF).

Gulfport Training Center to Receive Next-Generation Air Combat Training System

Cubic Defense Applications has received orders worth a total of $15.6 million to provide its P5 Combat Training System (P5 CTS/TCTS) to the Mississippi Air National Guard. The new system will represent a major technological leap over an earlier air combat training instrumentation system at the Gulfport Readiness Training Center that was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Simulated Weapons Add to EST 2000 Sales

Cubic's Simulation Systems Division (SSD), based in Orlando, Fla., is pleased to announce it has achieved its first Lot 8 EST 2000 delivery of 540 simulated rifles. Since weapon design efforts began in July 2005, SSD has built over 6,000 simulated weapons. Cubic’s current capabilities include the M16A2, M16A4, M4, M4/M203, M16/M203, M249, M240B, M1200 shotgun, M9, M2, MK19, RPG27, LAW, 60mm Mortar, NEGEV and AT4.

Cubic Developing Urban Training Instrumentation for Australia

Cubic Defense Applications has received a contract to supply indoor and outdoor combat training instrumentation for Australia’s new Urban Operations Training Facility (UOTF) planned for the Shoalwater Bay Training Area. The flexible, expandable instrumentation is a key component of the larger training initiative, the Joint Combined Training Capability, which will bring together Australia and U.S. forces for live, virtual and constructive training exercises.
