CD-TDTD Time Synch (Data Port)

This procedure is always needed after the battery has been changed in the DPCU. The display will read:

"2640 (4 digit PID) KILLED
TIME SYNCH REQ"

To check your CD-TDTD to see if it has the correct software version, press Data button, then press Soft Key 2, the next step is very important. Press Soft Key 2 and pull the trigger at the same time.

The display on the CD-TDTD should read:

— SET/TX CODE —
Code: 00 Univ. Kill
PID: 0000
08 CEB9 CDS dev
TR+ Laser 0/100 %

08 CEB9 CDS dev is the correct version, anything else will not allow this function. Stop and notify Cubic Defense Applications for new software version.

From the CD-TDTD Run Mode.
Press SYS soft key.
In the SYS Mode the Time/Date should be highlighted. If needed you can press SOFT KEY 1 twice to set the correct time and date. Once completed, press OK Key twice back up to the 2 menus until display TR=OPTO in the lower right corner of the display.
At this point using the Data Port on the CD-TDTD made with the Optical Port on the DPCU
Pull the trigger on the CD-TDTD, a beep should be heard from the CD-TDTD ad on the DPCU "Time SYNCH REQ." should change to "WEAPON NOT READY".
The DPCU is now ready to use.
To check the events on the DPCU, press the up arrow 4 times. The first event displayed should be " XXXXXX (current time) CD-TDTD.
