Cubic
leads the world in instrumented air and ground combat training.
With
Cubic's training systems and services, troops learn the individual
and collective skills they need to win and survive. Our combat
training systems allow soldiers and pilots to train as they
fight -- to experience the "fog of war" with their
individual weapons, tanks and aircraft in realistic combat conditions.
Today,
Cubic takes warfighters to the highest level of training
with new-generation hardware and software systems that are:
-
INTEROPERABLE
AND SCALABLE FOR ALL LEVELS OF TRAINING:
We provide integrated training solutions for light forces,
heavy forces, combined and joint air-and-ground exercises.
Cubic's systems support any mission, from squad through brigade-level
training, and up to 100 aircraft in a single exercise.
-
PORTABLE
FOR DEPLOYMENT TRAINING: Cubic's products feature smaller,
lightweight components that allow troops to quickly deploy
worldwide for any training mission.
-
PC-BASED
AND SOFTWARE INTENSIVE: Troops can use their own laptops
or PCs for exercise control, After
Action Reviews (AARs) and aircrew
debriefs. Our hardware is modular with commercial off-the-shelf
components. This reduces costs, streamlines training and ensures
easy upgrades and maintenance.
AIR
COMBAT TRAINING
The key components of our Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation
(ACMI) systems are the pods
mounted on the aircraft and ground-based display systems that
provide live exercise control and aircrew debrief functions.
The instrumentation pods collect and record in-flight data and
weapons events. The data is then relayed in near real-time to
ground stations for exercise control and post-mission debriefs.
GROUND
COMBAT TRAINING
During ground training exercises, troops and vehicles are equipped
with systems that collect and transmit battlefield data to analysts
in real time. The information is then recorded for replay after
the exercise. Cubic's new PC-based Range-Instrumentation System,
or PC-RIS,
provides exercise control and AAR functions on PCs or laptops
for ground or joint training missions.
Our advanced Tactical Engagement Simulation (TES) products
that are integrated into new-generation combat training systems
include:
-
ADVANCED
MULTIPLE INTEGRATED LASER ENGAGEMENT SYSTEMS including
MILES 2000
and MILES IWS that support full-scale CTC exercises as well
as Military Operations in Urban Training (MOUT) missions.
The system allows troops to fire laser-based "bullets"
from their actual weapons, then scores and records their performance
for AARs.
-
PRECISION
GUNNERY SYSTEM (PGS): The new standard in precision
direct-fire weapons simulation, PCTS is a cost-effective and
superior dual-simulation system that provides both combat
training and precision gunnery capabilities for armored crews.
