| The
Attaché (Model P8801) is a powerful, portable single
RF channel Electronic Warfare (EW) simulator designed for
use outside a normal laboratory environment. It provides the
same signal generation fidelity and uses the same database
as Cubic's standard HIDESS.
The
Attaché accurately tests advanced radar warning receivers
and other EW equipment by providing realistic threat signals.
The system's unique design provides a clear replication of
the signals with minimal RF noise output. Individual, programmable
time clocks for each signal preserves the asynchronous nature
of the threat environment - in real time.
The
Attaché is designed to primarily function as a stand-alone
unit but can also be used as a performance upgrade for other
simulation systems. Its modular design allows great flexibility
in signal capability, frequency coverage and output RF configuration.
In
its standard configuration, the Attaché contains a
single high-duty cycle, dual signal pulse and scan generator
capable of replicating the most complex radar signals, including
modern pulse Doppler, phased array systems.
If
connected to a high power amplifier and an antenna system,
the Attaché can be used to provide free space radiated
signals that replicate a wide variety of threat radar signals.
In this configuration, it can be used for personnel training
or field test of deployed receiver systems. The Attaché
utilizes the same software (Escape2000) as the standard HIDESS
system.
