Training Devices
Our technicians
provide operations, maintenance, engineering and logistics
support for a variety of surface, subsurface and aviation
training devices and simulators.
Cubic, which also maintains associated facilities and support
equipment for the simulators, has an outstanding performance
record at all contract locations.
Our personnel also assist in the definition and installation
of hardware and software modifications.

Photo A
(Device 2F92B) is a full-motion base aviation trainer which simulates
the S-3B Viking Aircraft. The trainer is designed to provide full
crew coordinated training to support and maintain Anti-Submarine
Warfare proficiency and operational readiness capabilities.

Contract
simulator instruction is also provided by Cubic personnel.
Our qualified training personnel provide instruction to pilots,
flight officers, flight engineers, and other aircrew for
the
purpose of carrying out specific mission scenarios and improving
proficiency in required airframe-specific tasks and operations.
Surface
training devices include maintenance trainers, system trainers,
and fire fighter training devices.

C is the Surface Warfare Tactical Trainer located at the
Navy’s training facility in Newport, RI. This is one of ten
surface training devices supported by Cubic at this location.
Photo D shows a technician monitoring and controlling
on-going training at the City of San Diego Fire Fighter Training
facility.
This
facility was originally a Navy Recruit Training Center Fire
Fighter Training site which the City of San Diego obtained
following base realignment and closures. |
