Fleet Anti-Submarine Warfare Command
(FLTASWCOM)
Based in
San Diego, California, the Fleet Anti-Submarine Warfare Command’s
(FLTASWCOM) mission is to serve as the warfighting center
of excellence for Anti-Submarine Warfare
(ASW) and focus
efforts across numerous resource sponsors, systems commands,
labs and operational commands to ensure Navy-wide competency
in the ASW mission area and to promote ASW excellence among
coalition partners through appropriate liaison. Established
7 January 2004, this new command is an Echelon 3 command under
Fleet Forces Command and falls under the claimancy of Commander,
US Pacific Fleet.
What we do:
CDA supports in the establishment, stand-up/man-up, and ultimate
operational capability of the command. Specific areas of
