As the leading provider of realistic air combat training systems, Cubic has delivered/upgraded the majority of Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (ACMI) ranges throughout the world.
In addition to our traditional fixed-range/"tethered" ACMI training systems, we provide advanced Rangeless/ Autonomous ACMI Training that allow pilots to train without a fixed range with the aid of Global Position Satellite (GPS) technology.
The key Components/Technologies of our ACMI systems include the instrumentation pod, typically mounted on a wingtip weapon station. The pods collect in-flight events and data, then record and transmit the information to ground stations for real-time monitoring of exercise events and post-mission debriefs.
During post-mission debriefs, aircrews can view 3-D computer-generated profiles of all participating aircraft, including flight dynamics, weapon events and outcomes of each engagement. Our portable PC-based aircrew display system -- the Individual Aircrew Display System (ICADS) -- features a user-friendly interface and incorporates commercial off-the-shelf components to keep costs low.
