Organization & Overview
The Analysis and Learning Technologies Division (ALTD)
The
Analysis and Learning Technologies Division (ALTD), based in Alexandria,
Virginia, provides high-end, professional analysis, advice and support
to complex organizations, principally in the defense or government sectors.
Our Center for Military Force Enhancement focuses on two primary vectors:
Analysis and Strategic
Studies and Defense Restructuring
and Force Modernization. We are also deeply experienced in all forms
of advanced training technologies, and with Cubic’s hardware divisions,
are able to recommend and provide leading edge training solutions. We
also design and develop educational and instructional products using
multiple technologies, principally Internet-based, CD or DVD, and full
motion video for the government and commercial sectors under our Center
for Applied Educational Technologies.

Beginning
in 1998 with the award of the Government of Hungary Force Modernization
contract, we continue to support Military Force Enhancement and modernization
initiatives in a number of former communist states in Central and Eastern
Europe. These efforts include strategic and policy analysis, planning
and restructuring initiatives across the full spectrum of defense requirements,
to include countries’ NATO programs. In fact, our significant
NATO expertise is central to the successful execution of these contracts.
We currently have teams working in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia,
Romania, Albania and Lithuania.
As we continue to support the emergent democracies of Europe, we provide
an expanding range of services to US Armed Services and agencies. Our
Center for Applied Educational Technologies is expert in Instructional
System Design techniques, from needs assessment to full computer and
internet based training products, including video.
