| Cubic’s
Worldwide Technical Services (WTS) division provides real-world
and simulated training and technical and operational support
to the Navy, Air Force, Army and Marines. We operate and
maintain military aviation, warship and submarine simulators
and live combat training ranges at more than 30 U.S. sites
and seven international locations. WTS also operates an
In-Service Engineering Office for simulator and training
device modification support, along with simulator and
flight instruction.
Our objective is to ensure that the devices we operate
are fully operational and available for maximum training
effectiveness. Cubic's dedicated technicians operate some
of the world's most complex military equipment,
routinely
responding to immediate requests to support intense combat
training scenarios for electronic warfare, air-to-air
and air-to-ground combat. We support:
- INSTRUMENTED
TRAINING RANGES & SYSTEMS,
including Cubic-developed land- and air combat training
ranges located in the U.S., Egypt, Korea, Canada, Italy,
Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and the North Sea Range between
England and the Netherlands. Our technicians are experienced
in supporting both fixed, "tethered" ranges
and autonomous/"rangeless" GPS-based training
systems around the world.
- COMPUTERIZED
TRAINING DEVICES AND SIMULATORS
for
a variety of aviation, surface and subsurface training
devices and simulators. These include F-14, S-3, SH-60
Aviation Simulators, Landing Craft Air Cushion and Surface
Ship Trainers, and Submarine Training Devices. Cubic's
instructors conduct aircraft system training and classroom
instruction for various airframes. Our engineers provide
design, development, installation, test and independent
verification and validation of various hardware and
software modifications for the in-service engineering
support of the AV-8B and KC-130 aircraft.
- LIVE
FIRE AND ELECTRONIC COMBAT TRAINING RANGES,
including the Ripsaw Range at Misawa Air Base, Japan.
Here, our technicians control range operations, and
maintain and operate computerized and electronic scoring
systems, electronic warfare equipment, ordnance target
areas, heavy equipment and facilities.
