Vice President, Corporate Engineering & Innovation
Melanie Hagerty is the vice president of engineering and vice president of innovation for Cubic Corporation. As vice president of corporate engineering, Hagerty manages Cubic's overall engineering resources to maximize productivity and drive continuous improvement.
As vice president of innovation, she leads Cubic’s innovation objectives, drives co-development with customers and continues the improvement of Cubic’s innovation social system.
Hagerty joined the company in 2004. Prior to her current position, she served as the chief engineer for Cubic Global Defense.
Prior to joining Cubic, Hagerty held positions as a design engineer, test engineer and lead systems engineer for Raytheon and L3 Communications. She has also served as an electronics and radar engineer for the U.S. Air Force while stationed at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.
Hagerty earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master’s degree in Engineering from Texas Tech University.
