NEXT GENERATION SMALL FORM FACTOR BE-CDL SDR POWERHOUSE
COMPACT. SECURE. MISSION-READY.
The Expeditionary 1 (EX 1) Software Defined Radio represents the newest evolution of Cubic’s miniaturized, highly secure SDR portfolio—built on the proven heritage of the Miniature Multiband Transceiver (MMT). For over 20 years, Cubic has engineered and deployed mission critical transceivers supporting the DoW mandated ISR Common Data Link (CDL) across airborne, ground, and maritime platforms.
Engineered to host multiple advanced waveforms simultaneously, the EX 1 delivers resilient, protected ISR and C2 communications to Group 2–3 UAS, Ground and Air Launched Effects, and other SWaP constrained platforms. This innovative SDR counters a peer adversary’s ability to contest the United States in the Electromagnetic Spectrum, assuring kill chain data.
Designed for today’s expeditionary missions, the EX 1 supports BE CDL Mode 100 and BE-CDL Mode 300 (LPD/LPI/AJ) waveforms and can be paired with antennas, amplifiers, and converters for extended Ku/Ka band reach. Rugged, compact, and exportable—EX 1 keeps joint forces connected anywhere in the world.
