P5 CTS/TCTS
Our P5 Combat Training System /Tactical Combat Training System (CTS/TCTS) is the common air combat training platform used by the United States Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and its coalition partners. Deployed in more than 30 ranges worldwide, P5 CTS/TCTS is equipped with advanced security features, real-time air-to-air and air-to-ground (AMRAAM) weapons simulation and live monitoring functions. Collectively, they provide users with a long-range datalink to continuously transmit and receive an aircraft’s time, space, position information (TSPI) during an exercise, and to send real-time kill notifications (RTKN) to their aircrew via synthesized voice communications. The system is usable in both tethered and untethered operations, allowing pilots to train “anytime, anywhere.”
KITS
As an important air combat training system used by the United States and its allies, especially during multi-national joint air combat training exercises, KITS uses a long-range UHF datalink to continuously transmit and receive the time, space, position information (TSPI) of all aircraft during an exercise, sending real-time kill notifications (RTKN) to an aircrew via synthesized voice communications. The system is usable in both tethered and untethered operations, allowing pilots to train “anytime, anywhere”.
Airborne Instrumentation Subsystem
Our airborne instrumentation subsystems include an array of modern avionics, electronics and computer processors that record participant flight parameters. They are used in air combat training and air test and evaluation, adapting to fighter and attack jet aircraft and attack helicopters.
Ground Instrumentation Subsystem
Our ground instrumentation subsystem includes a set of land- and ship-based equipment that supports all elements of air combat training and test missions. All components allow for setup, monitor, control and debrief to occur in a secure environment. Key components and features:
- Mission Line Up (MLU) Orange box: With its intuitive user interface, MLU software includes thousands of different weapon and threat simulations for a wide range of host aircraft.
- Firewalls Orange box: Firewall prevents unauthorized network access, acting as the interface between the remote range communications and radio equipment, and the ICADS® and Live Monitor (LM) computer equipment.
- Live Monitor Orange box: Our live monitor displays and records, in real time, information about all mission participants, securely transmitting control commands over a communications network.
- Data Merge Device Orange box: Data merge provides a high-fidelity, post-mission debrief, transmitting a comprehensive digital output mission file to the Individual Combat Aircrew Display System (ICADS®) display for immediate debriefing.
