Cory Shields is Chief Public Affairs Officer of Cubic Corporation.

Shields joined Cubic in March 2024 and leads worldwide public relations, government affairs and marketing. He is responsible for setting strategy and agenda at the local and national level in major global markets and delivering strategic communications counsel to executive management.

With more than 25 years of communications experience in the media and entertainment industries, Shields is an accomplished executive and trusted advisor in leading crisis management, corporate positioning, and executive communications. 

Previously, Shields served in executive leadership roles at Amazon Global Media and Entertainment and NBCUniversal where he oversaw communications strategy, media relations and publicity.

Shields received a bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University.  He serves on the Board of Directors for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, a nonprofit organization that provides superbly bred and trained dogs to people who are blind or visually impaired.
