Cubic’s Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) division today announced the launch of TruView™, a new suite of web-based traffic management software designed to help transportation agencies optimize signal network performance and gain greater visibility and control of their traffic operations.
TruView Central, the first solution introduced to the TruView ecosystem, is a web-based central management platform that leverages existing Cubic ATMS systems and field controller networks. By building on existing Agency infrastructure, TruView Central provides a streamlined deployment approach while giving users flexible, secure access to their traffic management system through any web browser or device.

TruView Central gives traffic professionals a real-time view of signal network operations, from current signal status and device communications to coordination modes, patterns and controller alerts. Users can quickly monitor network conditions through Map, Table or Split views, with active and historical alerts available for filtering, review and export.
The TruView Central platform extends visibility to day-to-day traffic operations with Signal Status Monitoring. Streamlined workflows enable easy response when monitoring with Manual Command & Control, which allows users to send immediate or scheduled commands for Pattern, Preemption, Vehicle Call, Ped Call and Clock Synchronization. Users can view detailed signal status across individual sites, easily track commands sent to field controllers, confirm successful execution, and even deactivate scheduled commands from a centralized location.
TruView Central streamlines controller and intersection configuration management with automated workflows. The new Controller Database Editor with two-way sync makes it easier to view and edit Trafficware® controller databases in lockstep with existing ATMS systems. Upload or download configurations directly to controllers and save unpublished changes for peer review before field download. The Site Management feature allows users to upload intersection layouts from ATMS to quickly view and edit from the TruView Central platform.
TruView Central’s built-in Scheduler enables customers to streamline routine operations by automating tasks such as controller data collection for status and alerts. TruView Central can also bring historical device, intersection and alert data into the platform through guided ATMS imports, eliminating friction for agencies utilizing a centralized operational view without starting from scratch.
TruView Central represents the first step in Cubic’s broader vision for a flexible, web-based traffic management software suite to help agencies reduce congestion, improve safety and deliver coordinated network-wide response plans. Its Central Processing Service enables secure, direct communication with Trafficware controllers and existing ATMS systems outside the cloud-hosted platform, supporting real-time data exchange based on customer IT network policies.
As the TruView suite continues to evolve, transportation agencies will be able to automate, optimize and expand capabilities to better manage and maintain their traffic signal networks from a single solution.
