A Background in Intelligent Transportation Systems

Terry is an accomplished business leader focusing on customers, commitments, processes and talent development to deliver operational efficiencies within an organization that meets customer needs and creates new business opportunities in technology-driven industries like transportation. He joins Cubic after several years as president of Global Traffic Technologies, where his focus on customer insights, processes and tools led to enhancing product innovation of an iconic brand, OpticomTM, to create value for customers and shareholders alike. His background also includes more than 17 years at 3M, where he held roles of increasing responsibility, which culminated in leading the Defense and Law Enforcement Global Business Unit. Terry also gained experience in intelligent transportation earlier in his career with Atkins and Econolite.

Delivering for the Future

When asked what led him to Cubic, Terry said: “I’ve been in the ITS and transportation industry for many years, and the technology portfolio that Cubic owns is well-known and respected. The significance of these technologies, brands and products gives Cubic a unique opportunity to meet the challenges facing agencies today and well into the future. The team at Cubic has developed a strong reputation for innovation and tackling difficult issues that face the market. The future is very bright for Cubic, and I look forward to being a part of that journey.”
